Rhonda J. Sudina
Rhonda J. Sudina is a partner at Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, from Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Sudina has also been admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association - Labor and Employment Law Section and Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section.
Ms. Sudina's practice focuses on litigation in the areas of insurance coverage, bad faith, employment and civil rights, commercial litigation, consumer lending, motor vehicle and premises liability along with general liability and casualty. She has represented individuals as well as a wide range of organizations and businesses in both the public and private sectors including nonprofit organizations and governmental entities in areas including manufacturing, retail, finance, transportation and health care.
As part of her litigation practice, Ms. Sudina also handles employment related matters including wrongful termination, breach of contract, harassment and discrimination claims. She has represented clients before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board as well as in state and federal courts.
Ms. Sudina has been invited to lecture on topics including employment law, the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law, insurance law and premises liability. She is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, an organization that recognizes the top trial lawyers in the county. Since 2007, she has been recognized annually as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Magazine. This distinction is awarded to only five percent (5%) of all lawyers in Pennsylvania. She has also been included in the 2018 and 2019 Editions of The Best Lawyers in America and received the highest "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubble. Ms. Sudina is an approved mediator, arbitrator, and early neutral evaluator in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
