Robert A. Loch

Robert A. Loch is a partner at Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP. He has been with the law firm since 1989. Mr. Loch is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, with high distinction and with honors in English. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with honors in 1989.
 
Mr. Loch’s practice is largely devoted to litigation. He represents businesses, professionals and individuals in a wide array of civil matters. Mr. Loch has significant litigation experience in breach of contract, products liability, insurance coverage and all manner of negligence claims. He has extensive trial experience in the state and federal courts of Western Pennsylvania, and has tried to verdict numerous tort cases, including construction claims, wrongful death suits, and injury claims. Mr. Loch has also represented his clients in the appellate courts of Pennsylvania.
 
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Loch also represents municipalities and employers in administrative proceedings. He has helped his clients obtain authorization for water and sewer lines, and obtain financing for the construction of municipal buildings and parks. He has drafted numerous ordinances and resolutions relating to zoning, telecommunication towers and other matters. Mr. Loch also maintains an active practice representing employers in workers’ compensation and employment related claims.
 
He has been honored to be selected by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, a distinction shared by only 5% of the practicing attorneys in the state. Mr. Loch has been included in the publication of The Best Lawyers in America since 2015 for his knowledge in Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants.
 
Mr. Loch is active in state and local bar associations, and is a former council member of the Workers Compensation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania since 1989.
 
Mr. Loch's continuing legal education includes participation in programs of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.  He regularly speaks before groups on litigation and insurance topics and is an occasional lecturer for the Allegheny County Bar Association on various continuing legal education topics.  Mr. Loch resides in Wexford.
