Attorney John A. Robb, Jr. Obtains Defense Verdict

On August 19, 2015, a jury in the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania returned a defense verdict in favor of Fire Fighter Sales and Service Company following a two week trial in the case of Insurance Company of Greater New York v. Fire Fighter Sales and Service Company, 2:11-cv-01078. The Insurance Company stood in the shoes of the Holiday Inn Parkway East and claimed that Fire Fighter was responsible for millions of dollars in damages caused by a flood at the Holiday Inn based on a theory that Fire Fighter had breached a contract to install fire suppression sprinklers in the Holiday Inn. The jury determined that Fire Fighter did not materially breach the contract with the Holiday Inn and returned a verdict in favor of Fire Fighter. Fire Fighter Sales and Service Company was represented by Attorney John A. Robb, Jr. and Attorney Joshua R. Guthridge.
