Daniel L. Rivetti
Daniel L. Rivetti has served as the Managing Partner at Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP since 2009. His practice focuses on extra-contractual insurance litigation, complex insurance coverage, fidelity and surety law, business litigation, and employment practices litigation. Mr. Rivetti has successfully represented clients in various state and federal trial courts in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Rivetti is a frequent lecturer and has addressed the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the National Business Institute, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, and the American Association of Special Investigative Units. He has also given numerous seminars to insurance and risk management professionals. Mr. Rivetti was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for eight consecutive years (2006-2013) in the area of Business Litigation by Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Magazine, and was named a “Top 50 Lawyer” in Pittsburgh in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2012, Mr. Rivetti earned Top 100 Pennsylvania Lawyer recognition. For the past three years, he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America publication for Insurance Law. Most recently, Mr. Rivetti was inducted as Fellow to the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.
A 1985 graduate of Yale University where he received an Applied Mathematics and Management Science degree, Mr. Rivetti was honored to be accepted into the Yale - General Motors Internship Program during his junior year of college. In 1989, Mr. Rivetti received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Rivetti graduated cum laude from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1994, where he also served as Associate Editor of the Law Review.
Mr. Rivetti serves as co-chair of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute's Bad Faith Section and is also a member of the American Bar Association Tort and Insurance Section.
